With over 35 years of experience, Jim focuses on tenant representation in both the office and industrial markets. Working with large national, regional, and local companies, he builds lasting relationships with clients so he can negotiate the best deal on their behalf. He frequently collaborates with Sam LeGeyt, a partnership going back to when Sam started his career with Jim at Harnden Commercial Brokers. Known for his in-depth market analysis and commitment to his clients, Jim’s proficiency also extends to working with investors as they expand and manage their real estate portfolios.

Most recently, Jim was President of Harnden Commercial Brokers, a firm he founded in 2014. Active in the Portland community, Jim is a member of MEREDA, MCAR, and is a past president of the Greater Portland Regional Chamber of Commerce, as well as a past president of the Portland Downtown District.
Jim lives in Yarmouth with his wife, Nicola Manganello, and has two grown daughters – Katie and Maeve. He enjoys golfing, skiing, and getting together with family and friends.
